Everyone I spoke today from the office was professional and courteous. Sometimes there is a tremendous amount of anxiety when you have to engage an attorney’s office, kindness and consideration goes a long way in making it a less stressful event. There aren't enough words to fully convey how happy I am I chose the Law Office of Tim Whitten to represent me in a recent cusody case but I will attempt in this review. I contacted Tim Whitten to represent me in the most difficult time of my life. After a few in-depth conversations with Summer and Tim, we agreed it would be best for my case to have Tim and Amerin Whisnant represent me. Amerin Whisnant was my main attorney and handled the bulk of the case and throughout the entire case, I have never seen more courtesy, kindness and hard-work on my behalf. I felt secure knowing the knowledge they possed would give me a clear picture of my options and guide me in the right direction. However, they allowed me to make all informed decisions based on what was right for my family. Rightfully so, emotions were high, however, Amerin did a tremendous job navigating me through it all and eleviating some of the stress and intensity that came with it. They displayed the utmost professionalism towards the opposing party including his attorney which showed me a lot of wisdom. I can honestly say my son and I are better off having chosen Amerin, Tim and this entire team as our legal coucil. Even their paralegal, Ashley, was great to work with - I highly reccomend them 100x over!

Trying to go through the name change process on my own turned into a nightmare. I hired CHA Law Group to take care of it and, from the initial phone consult to getting my certified copies of the name change order, it was stress free. Communication was excellent and they were friendly and professional throughout the process.

Not sure why google isnt showing my review, but i am going to reword it then: I hired Will Shindler for a family law case. All I can say is I had a good case with good proofs, pictures, etc. He was very submissive to the opposing party and disrespectful to me and my case. He would ask me to do everything the oppossing party was asking for and would not really fight for me. Also, In family matters you have to be professional with everyone involved, these are painful moments for both parties yet he was heard many times laughing it up with the opposing party's lawyer, so much so that the oppossing party plaintiff noticed it too. I felt like all my money went down the drain, not to mention the emotional pain left after a "professional" didn't want to fight for you.

After we adopted our two children internationally, we wanted to "re-adopt" them in Texas so they could obtain Texas birth certificates. Not many family law attorneys even know this is an option for internationally adopted children. But Christine knew, and also knew exactly how to get it done quickly and efficiently. The CHA Law firm went out of their way when my son was dying of cancer. He only had two weeks to live when we contacted them. They spoke with him on the phone, wrote his will, came out to the house to ensure he had all his faculties, brought witnesses to the will signing at his house, and was warm and caring during his last days. As a father, you couldn’t ask for more.

I HIGHLY recommend Cristi Trusler for family law, particularly custody cases. I had initial consultations with 3 divorce attorneys, and within minutes of my first meeting with Melissa I knew she was the one I would retain. From the beginning, she gave me very honest and accurate information, which helped me to have realistic expectations. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of family law, very well organized, and a great communicator. It was obviously not her first rodeo, and as it was mine, I found her calm demeanor very reassuring. She never flinched when opposing counsel delayed, postured, and made unreasonable requests. She was exceptionally responsive throughout the entire course of my case, as was as her paralegal. I also felt like she did a good job of presenting options that would minimize my legal fees. Extreme focus on billing and not service...seems like we were never organized and on point. Constantly repeating work. Its like I have to defend myself in every conversation. Jimmy and his team are amazing. The depth of experience and ability to advise on my divorce was incredible. It became very clear to me that they work very hard at what they do. Kimberley Evans has been my divorce attorney many years. There aren't enough nouns for me to describe my experience with her as my attorney. Her tenacity, drive, and hard work are apparent. "The work will speak for itself" and it certainly does. Evans Law Group is also a representation of these things. When it comes to something like the fallout after an ended marriage, especially where children are involved, every decision can have lasting ramifications. Timing can make or break various factors for you depending on the circumstance. Don't risk the potential for long term clean up. My divorce/child support case was complicated. I spoke with half a dozen attorneys prior to speaking with Janice. None of the attorneys I spoke with were confident in how to proceed with my case. A few said they'd research it and get back with me (they didn't get back with me) and some just honestly said they had no idea how to handle this case. From the first time I spoke with Janice she was confident in how to proceed - she told me exactly what she would do and she did it. She researched case law for my particular situation and was very prepared in court. And 8 months later - our case is complete and we were awarded everything we asked for. Janice and her team were professional, they did not over promise anything. She is direct and to the point and was always available when I had questions. I hope to never have to use her services again, but I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing legal services for any family law situations.

We needed a fighter, and Bryan put on his boxing gloves for us and won our match. It was scary for our family as my grandson was taken by his other grandmother who took him out of school for the week and then took him to Corpus from the Austin area. We had to track her down, drive to Corpus and get him back. While my husband and daughter were on their drive, Cassie and I were in constant text - We were all on a mission to get that boy in his momma's arms again. Bryan filed restraining orders and writs and all of the above to make this happen. This was a long and hard case, but we had the Final Virtual Hearing today and he brought my family justice.. My daughter now has Sole Custody of her boy and I am quite proud of her and the outcome of this matter. I pray nobody has to go through what we did, but if you do - I assure you want Bryan in your corner.. I couldn't ask for a better representative for my family and thank you just is not enough words..

The BEST FAMILY Law Attorney I have ever worked with. 1 year ago I was blindsided with a separation and custody battle. It all started with my ex wanting to leave making false child abuse and domestic abuse claims against me. I highly recommend Ryan Dougay for custody issues. My daughter hired him to represent her in custody of her 2 children. As a mother fighting for her children and a grandmother having to watch, it was a very difficult time. After meeting with Ryan, he put our minds at ease. He gave us straight forward answers and explained what would happen. He believed in my daughter and had my granddaughters best interest at heart. I would love to express how amazing David Kazen and Mary his legal assistant are in handling my case. He has defended me through unjust accusations and fought for my daughters and myself . Both he and Mary possess such an empathetic demeanor throughout my case and have been comforting and helpful during our professional time together. They both have had ethical and legal advice the entire time, and never made me feel like I was less than an important client. In times where I have been worried about ongoing issues occurring I have been able to reach them immediately even on the weekends. I only wish I had of found him sooner as the other attorneys I worked with in Austin were unethical in many ways and did little to nothing to help end this process. David took over our case after our attorney passed away. His office came recommended from our precious attorney’s office. David jumped in and listened to our case and circumstances and was fully committed. David was even not too familiar with military retirement issues but allowed us to be fully involved in every step and was appropriately aggressive with opposing council to encourage a timely response. Chris through and through was a professional who understands the system and will prepare you on what might happen and will happen. He's honest and gets straight to the point of the situation. I had been dealing with a child's medical payment lawsuit that I should've never been sued for as well as TX AG's Office mistakenly setting up wrong child support payments amounts that without Chris, the issue would've never gotten resolved.
