Bill and team really are the best. While my very high-conflict divorce was finalized six years ago, my ex continued to drag us back to court over minutia every year since then; that is when I hired Bill. At ever corner, Bill had my children's best interest in mind. Any advice he gave me, was prefaced with "What is going to be best for your kiddos is..." Bill has the utmost integrity, is an unflappable professional, he is a genuinely good person, and he is probably also one of the funniest people I know. I have nothing but positive things to say about Mrs. Lackey. My case with her is nearing the one year mark and her dedication to my case has been exceptional. I know it's supposed to be what attorneys are known for is navigating the legal system but I feel she goes above and beyond. She does not guess or give you a "well maybe that can work." This man was an ad lietem for my daughter and she is a troubled teen. He is placing her in an unsafe environment with a family member known for abuse and sexual abuse. They are drug addicts and prostitutes and he wants my teen girl to go live with these people OUT OF THE STATE OF TEXAS SO HE CAN GET PAID . He does not care about anything but the money. period. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE OR CHILDREN,what so ever. He is very rude, calls people names,he is a snake. HE IS A SHARK OUT FOR HIS OWN. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCUM. The service and respect I've received after I've been with them for years has dramatically changed. I think if you are exploring options I would continue to explore. Extreme focus on billing and not service...seems like we were never organized and on point. Constantly repeating work. Its like I have to defend myself in every conversation. It appears it’s a cultural thing. Turns out its a similar experience among others I've spoken with. If I could reduce to zero I would.

Jimmy and his team are amazing. The depth of experience and ability to advise on my divorce was incredible. It became very clear to me that they work very hard at what they do. The most amazing thing that I continued to notice was how Jimmy could see far down the road and predict what was going to happen based on the TX legal system in conjunction with the personalities of opposing counsel. Kimberley Evans has been my divorce attorney many years. There aren't enough nouns for me to describe my experience with her as my attorney. Her tenacity, drive, and hard work are apparent. "The work will speak for itself" and it certainly does. Evans Law Group is also a representation of these things. When it comes to something like the fallout after an ended marriage, especially where children are involved, every decision can have lasting ramifications. Not sure why google isnt showing my review, but i am going to reword it then: I hired Will Shindler for a family law case. All I can say is I had a good case with good proofs, pictures, etc. He was very submissive to the opposing party and disrespectful to me and my case. He would ask me to do everything the oppossing party was asking for and would not really fight for me. Also, In family matters you have to be professional with everyone involved, these are painful moments for both parties yet he was heard many times laughing it up with the opposing party's lawyer, so much so that the oppossing party plaintiff noticed it too. I felt like all my money went down the drain, not to mention the emotional pain left after a "professional" didn't want to fight for you.

After we adopted our two children internationally, we wanted to "re-adopt" them in Texas so they could obtain Texas birth certificates. Not many family law attorneys even know this is an option for internationally adopted children. But Christine knew, and also knew exactly how to get it done quickly and efficiently. The CHA Law firm went out of their way when my son was dying of cancer. He only had two weeks to live when we contacted them. They spoke with him on the phone, wrote his will, came out to the house to ensure he had all his faculties, brought witnesses to the will signing at his house, and was warm and caring during his last days. As a father, you couldn’t ask for more.

Look no further than Jeff Barnett and his law practice to assist with your legal needs. He is worth every penny and extremely professional. I reached out to Jeff to assist with a frivolous lawsuit filed against me when no other attorney would help. Not only did he get my lawsuit dismissed, he helped with getting sanctions awarded against the plaintiffs attorney for not doing his due diligence before filing a frivolous lawsuit against an innocent party. I will certainly use Jeff again and recommend him and his practice highly without reservations.

Not only was Scott successful in the custody piece, he was able to help me win every aspect of the case in the best interest of my son. I can’t say enough positive about Gracie Wood Shepard. I worked with her a few years ago when she was newer and she did a wonderful job repping me in my divorce. So great, in fact, that I hired her again recently for a pretty outrageously complex series of legal issues. She is organized, calm, collected, BRILLIANT, legally savvy and very well-educated and clearly knows the law. She is also well-supported by her firm and shared that she collaborates with the other attorneys in her office often...which I love. She was very cool and articulate in court. She was bullied big time by the other lawyers and stood her ground without any issues. The other lawyers tried a bunch of slippery moves, too, and she was unwavering. She’s also a bargain at her current rate and I felt her charges were very fair. My only issue with leaving this review is that she might get too busy to rep me in the future!

I am so thankful to Scott Milner for his graceful representation of me in my divorce. I first met with Amy Lambert, who quickly saw that my case would not likely mediate, and she passed me to Scott, so that we would be prepared in case we had to go to trial. We did go to trial, and Scott Milner helped me to get the best outcome for my 3 children and myself. He had a very difficult case in my situation, and he had to defend me against tough accusations. I hired Amy while going through a divorce and she was referred by a friend and she is quite good when focusing on my case. She is regularly unresponsive and even with repeated emails she was still unresponsive. I had to ask her to delegate the paper filing work to her paralegal or secretary and they helped move it a little forward. We are more than two months behind filing the signed mediation papers. To me without clear communication with her clients her actions are quite unacceptable. Or she treats clients different which is equally inappropriate.

There aren't enough words to fully convey how happy I am I chose the Law Office of Tim Whitten to represent me in a recent cusody case but I will attempt in this review. I contacted Tim Whitten to represent me in the most difficult time of my life. After a few in-depth conversations with Summer and Tim, we agreed it would be best for my case to have Tim and Amerin Whisnant represent me. Amerin Whisnant was my main attorney and handled the bulk of the case and throughout the entire case, I have never seen more courtesy, kindness and hard-work on my behalf. I felt secure knowing the knowledge they possed would give me a clear picture of my options and guide me in the right direction. However, they allowed me to make all informed decisions based on what was right for my family. Rightfully so, emotions were high, however, Amerin did a tremendous job navigating me through it all and eleviating some of the stress and intensity that came with it. They displayed the utmost professionalism towards the opposing party including his attorney which showed me a lot of wisdom. I can honestly say my son and I are better off having chosen Amerin, Tim and this entire team as our legal coucil. Even their paralegal, Ashley, was great to work with - I highly reccomend them 100x over!

I hired Carolyn about 10 years ago, paid my $4000 retainer and she used almost the entire amount ($40 returned unused) in just serving him with papers, phone calls to me. Nothing was accomplished for $4000. I had to hire another attorney and pay again before I got my case settled. Very upset and a waste of money I didn't have.
