Joe, Melissa and Benjamin were the best! They were extremely patient and empathetic with me as I worked through what I thought was a “simple” divorce over the course of a few years! Joe always keeps the best interest of the children in mind. He is extremely responsive (as is the rest of his team) and I always felt like I was heard. I’m certain that Joe and his team see cases like ours all the time. However, when your biggest love is being a father and a divorce threatens the possibility of not having your children 50/50. A fear of uneasy sets in and you can’t get that out of your mind. Joe studied my case. He asked real questions and he needed full transparency. We gave him everything he asked for. After meeting with Joe, He told me that this will be a process and he had our family’s best interest Mind. After a year of back and forth and having to provide everything under the sun. The BEST FAMILY Law Attorney I have ever worked with. 1 year ago I was blindsided with a separation and custody battle. It all started with my ex wanting to leave making false child abuse and domestic abuse claims against me. I highly recommend Ryan Dougay for custody issues. My daughter hired him to represent her in custody of her 2 children. As a mother fighting for her children and a grandmother having to watch, it was a very difficult time. After meeting with Ryan, he put our minds at ease. He gave us straight forward answers and explained what would happen. He believed in my daughter and had my granddaughters best interest at heart. I hired Carolyn about 10 years ago, paid my $4000 retainer and she used almost the entire amount ($40 returned unused) in just serving him with papers, phone calls to me. Nothing was accomplished for $4000. I had to hire another attorney and pay again before I got my case settled. Very upset and a waste of money I didn't have.

Not sure why google isnt showing my review, but i am going to reword it then: I hired Will Shindler for a family law case. All I can say is I had a good case with good proofs, pictures, etc. He was very submissive to the opposing party and disrespectful to me and my case. He would ask me to do everything the oppossing party was asking for and would not really fight for me. Also, In family matters you have to be professional with everyone involved, these are painful moments for both parties yet he was heard many times laughing it up with the opposing party's lawyer, so much so that the oppossing party plaintiff noticed it too. I felt like all my money went down the drain, not to mention the emotional pain left after a "professional" didn't want to fight for you.

After we adopted our two children internationally, we wanted to "re-adopt" them in Texas so they could obtain Texas birth certificates. Not many family law attorneys even know this is an option for internationally adopted children. But Christine knew, and also knew exactly how to get it done quickly and efficiently. The CHA Law firm went out of their way when my son was dying of cancer. He only had two weeks to live when we contacted them. They spoke with him on the phone, wrote his will, came out to the house to ensure he had all his faculties, brought witnesses to the will signing at his house, and was warm and caring during his last days. As a father, you couldn’t ask for more.

There aren't enough words to fully convey how happy I am I chose the Law Office of Tim Whitten to represent me in a recent cusody case but I will attempt in this review. I contacted Tim Whitten to represent me in the most difficult time of my life. After a few in-depth conversations with Summer and Tim, we agreed it would be best for my case to have Tim and Amerin Whisnant represent me. Amerin Whisnant was my main attorney and handled the bulk of the case and throughout the entire case, I have never seen more courtesy, kindness and hard-work on my behalf. I felt secure knowing the knowledge they possed would give me a clear picture of my options and guide me in the right direction. However, they allowed me to make all informed decisions based on what was right for my family. Rightfully so, emotions were high, however, Amerin did a tremendous job navigating me through it all and eleviating some of the stress and intensity that came with it. They displayed the utmost professionalism towards the opposing party including his attorney which showed me a lot of wisdom. I can honestly say my son and I are better off having chosen Amerin, Tim and this entire team as our legal coucil. Even their paralegal, Ashley, was great to work with - I highly reccomend them 100x over!

I HIGHLY recommend Cristi Trusler for family law, particularly custody cases.
