Letty, Sue, and Page were completely on top of setting up my separation papers and explaining the process thereof. Very supportive and always there to answer my questions. They were able to contact my ex-spouse send the paperwork and have my divorce filed as quickly as possible. Also, the team was able to help contact my spouse to send over the last stimulus checks as well! The Law Office of K. Page Kistler helped me out big time! I tried one of those “easy online divorce” websites and honestly just wasted $300 doing so. From the second I contacted K. I'm sorry I haven't written this review sooner, but here it is and it is very important to consider when looking at this lawyer. I was incredibly fortunate to have hired him. It has been 9 years, and there is not a day that goes by that I not only think of him, but thank him in my head. Extremely professional, incredibly intelligent and full of integrity. I had an unusual case. My daughter was taken by my husband on a trip... and he never returned. I learned that he was cheating and he never actually planned on returning home. I was in the ARMY at the time. It was so hard to manage this situation while still serving. Simon gave me the strength when I thought there was none left. Simon gave me the courage and hope and provided confidence in his ability to right these wrongs in the most honest way. As a jaded, soon to be single mother, I wanted to draw blood and flip out and use everything in my arsenal to hypothetically destroy my estranged husband for withholding my daughter and cheating. Simon taught me a huge life lesson: you don't attack, and you especially don't attack first. No matter what accusations were made against me, the number one thing was to always be true to myself and others. Never lash out. Never feed into the drama. Be professional, stay quiet, and let them dig their own grave with their actions and behaviors. Be ABOVE everything and everyone that wants to make unnecessary moves just because things didn't work out. So I listened. Simon was thorough. He wanted a timeline of everything about my relationship from start to finish... how we got together, what he did for me, didn't do for me, fights, decisions, everything. It dawned on me that he needed to learn every aspect of our relationship to see the full and complete picture. Simon had no qualms about letting me know when I was in the wrong and what was fair. He helped me fight to get my daughter back into my custody where she belonged... she was only 7 months, and with clear evidence, was being neglected outside of my care. I learned through him the importance of solid correct adult behavior, and how to maintain composure during what was the fight of my life. To this day I wish I could've thanked him more... he walked through every single step with me. And the last time I ever saw him was to establish a custody agreement that my child's father didn't even bother showing up to. He shook my hand and walked away. I sat in my car stunned, greatful, and in absolute awe. In fact, my childs father didn't even show up for that last hearing (there were two) and we've never seen him again (his choice) and I'm so happy for it, because now she will ALWAYS be in good hands. I don't know what would've happened had I not sought out this lawyer. He sugar coats NOTHING. If you're wrong, you're wrong - but he will help you get right. And if you're right and they're wrong, with his help you'll, too, learn to hold your head high and do everything by the book. Simon, if you see this... thank you. A million times, thank you. It has been 9 years since you helped me get my baby back and if only you could see just how much we are thriving now. To everyone else... you'd be foolish not to choose this lawyer. And if you're going up AGAINST him in court? Fair warning, he will eviscerate you with the truth!

I used Mr. Marle about 6-7 yrs ago for a divorce situation he made it super easy took care of both our issues and even with other party having moved back to California mailed all paper work to her to sign, he went to court and had everything settled without either party having to be here. (Fairly uncomplicated divorce etc no kids) Very occasionally every few yrs I call him for some legal matter advice and he always takes the 2min out of his day to help me. Hopefully I never have to need him again retained but should that happen for traffic or divorce he would be first and only person I call. Thanks alot and happy holidays!

Recommending we let a 5 year olds teeth rot out for the sake of a case. Negotiating settlements with absolutely no permission to do so. Speaking to the opposite party poorly about his own client and his household. Inability to handle anything tech such as voice or video files. Failure to follow up on....almost everything. This is a visitation schedule lawyer, he has no interest in actually helping and has a misogynist ego that prevents him from trying to be any better. Simon, if it were up to me you would have been fired when you couldnt figure out Dropbox for 3 months and instead of asking just never looked at your clients files at all. I cant make this stuff up, and if I did this would be slander. This guy has failed over and over again in many ways, my recommendation is to hire ANYONE else.

Jennifer Oram-Smith is one of the most delightful and personable people I have ever had the privilege of working with. Even though, what put me in the position of having to hire a lawyer in the first place was not a good thing.... Jennifer's positive attitude and fearless fighting for my case helped make my experience that much better. When you search for a lawyer, you often look for credentials - experience - size of the firm etc.... but what often isn't described is how diligent they are with their clients and their cases. Jennifer was so tireless in her efforts to ensure I got what I was looking for, that each time I sent her an email she was quick to respond that very same day. Communication was key for me as I live in California and needed representation in Virginia. My case was a complex one, with ALOT of history and paperwork to go through, and given the distance and how often I was able to actually meet with Jennifer in person - I can say I am very impressed with the way she conducts business. As far as price goes, it should be no surprise to anyone that hiring a lawyer can be expensive (depending on your case) and you get what you pay for. I made that mistake the first time I hired a lawyer a few years ago and all I walked away with was debt and little to show for it. Jennifer is EXTREMELY fair in her pricing... in fact... I think she may be underpriced as I believe that her level of commitment is valued at so much more. And because of Jennifer's meticulous work and what felt like boundless knowledge of the judicial system, I was able to walk away from court with so much more than I had started with. After unpleasant experience with my prior Family Law attorney whom I had spent a lot of money with very little result, Mr. Parks agreed to take my child support modification case with a little time left before my next court hearing. Mr. Parks demonstrated skill at sorting out complex issues and effectively negotiating them in my best interest. We interviewed several attorneys prior to retaining Mr. Waltrip. We found him to be down to Earth, humble, and respectful; but truthful and frank. He listened to our story with sympathy and sensitivity. He was completely realistic and reasonably managed our expectations. Also, he offered some novel suggestions about how we could conduct the case. Another great benefit was the fact that he lived in and knew the county in which our case was to be heard and he was familiar with both the judge and the opposing counsel. During the run up to the trial date, he and his staff were communicative and responsive to our questions. He kept us hopeful but realistic. He and his paralegal continued to be kind and polite. On the day of the trial, he was prepared and organized (not in the most traditional way). I must admit I was concerned watching his notetaking style, however when it came time to question and cross-examine, his mind was sharp and his words were articulate, clear, and hard-hitting. It was fun to watch. He had the passion of a competitive athlete and was hungry for victory. He jabbed, parried, and then closed for a knockout. He left the opposition flummoxed and completely outplayed. We didn't even need to call our witnesses. The preparation for and the experience of court was arduous and sometimes painful, but the outcome was as good as we could have expected. I am grateful to Mr. Waltrip and would recommend him without prejudice or reservation.

Mr. Campbell is by far the worst court appointed attorney I have ever came across. I guess if he is actually getting paid to represent someone maybe he's okay. He does not communicate at all with his clients. The office staff is not at all helpful. They promise to get answers and that they'll get back to you but never do. I would never recommend This quack to anyone.

I can’t even describe how impressed and how much my expectations were exceeded with Mr. Waltrip. I had a fairly difficult custody case that he handled. From beginning to the end he was beyond professional and in court is really where he shined and that by far is the most important part of having an attorney. There wasn’t a moment that I wasn’t confident in his expertise or decorum in the courtroom. I left with an outcome that was better than I could have imagined. I credit that to Mr. Waltrip’s sound advise, leading and closing arguments and his knowledge of family law. I’ve had other attorneys in the area and let me say some are extremely costly and frankly just disappointing and inept. Finding a great attorney to handle such a delicate situation such as your child is not easy. I would recommend Mr. Waltrip to any of my family members or friends with 100% confidence.

I used this firm for my divorce. They were efficient, and communicated with me through each step. They are also honest, I nearly overpaid them, but the attorney corrected me prior to payment. Pricing is also reasonable and fair. I'm so glad I used them, and so thankful for how great they were. I absolutely recommend retaining them if you ever need legal assistance. I'd give more stars if I could.

My husband has used Mr. Price for several family law issues, and we have been very satisfied with his work and responsiveness, both of which were problems for us with other attorneys. Mr. Price is not a barracuda--he's not out to win--he's out to find a reasonable solution to tough problems, which is what any family attorney should be doing, in my opinion. There are no winners in family court, after all. I love that he is honest with us, even when it's truth we don't want to hear. I respect that, and him, immensely.
