Molly helped make our divorce proceedings easy, if that is such a thing during a divorce. She has a "Tell it like it is" attitude, but in a nice way, knows her stuff and looks out for the best interest of her client. She also helped me get in touch with some excellent parenting resources, to help iron out some wrinkles (ex-spouse not following parenting plan) after everything was finalized. I would highly recommend Molly and her staff!

Molly and her team were very helpful during my recent divorce after almost 30 years of marriage. I tried to do it myself but that became a mistake after my wife's attorney tried to really take advantage of me. Molly listened to me, asked the right questions, and helped me provide the right kind of information to defend myself. I had no intention to be unfair to my wife, but her attorney wanted it all. In the end, we came to a fair resolution that I was pleased with considering the circumstances.

I've used Mr. Hansen 2x in the last 10 years and HIGHLY recommend him. In both cases, I felt immediately better after our initial conversations and then extremely well taken care of during the subsequent process and proceedings. Mr. Hansen is very direct and to the point, which I actually very much appreciate. He doesn't sugar coat things and is very open with what you can and can't expect based on his knowledge of the law, which is extensive. I personally appreciated being able to know exactly where I stood legally and then being able to make a confident, informed decision with Mr. Hansen's advice and guidance. I would use him again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone that is in need of legal advice. I am very grateful that he was recommended to me years ago from a trusted friend.

If you're reading this you're in a tough spot. You need good legal advice and understanding, you don't need cuddles and lots of empathy. Mr.Hansen is your guy. He actually does listen and he does know what your feelings probably are. I've read some reviews of his that feel like he is somehow harsh-he isn't he is simply listening and giving you outstanding legal understanding and counsel. It's your situation that is harsh not Mr.Hansen. The first call is worth so much, just call him and your understanding will go up by 100% for free. When you perceive his understanding and ability you will retain him as your counsel. Full disclosure: I reconciled with my spouse (hallelujah) so didn't wind up completing the divorce.

Veronica was recommended to me through a close friend, at a time when I was at my lowest. I'd just been assaulted by my husband of nearly 20 years, who was/is a complete textbook covert narcissist. As soon as we met for the consultation I just knew I was in good hands and that Veronica would fight the good fight for me in my divorce. It was a grueling 12+ months but through the whole thing Veronica never lost sight of our goals and in the end I got what was fair and just. I truly believe I would not have gotten the outcome we did had I hired another attorney.

I was recommended Veronica and her firm by a friend of the family. My soon to be ex-husband is a very challenging person to work with and my number 1 goal through the entire process was to do what is fair and what is right. I appreciate that Veronica and her firm helped to support me in those desires while protecting me from being bullied by my ex. They helped me not only navigate through the divorce and mediation process, but also helped with communications with the ex when he was less than appropriate on numerous occasions. They helped remind me that the boundaries I had set around my children were not only fair, they were just and that he needed to respect those boundaries. I also used Fierce to describe this group because while my case was settled it mediation, it was clear they knew when and where to be fierce and that is what you want when someone is advocating for your rights and the rights of your children. Should this have gone to trial, I have no doubt that Veronica and her team would have been nothing short of phenomenal. I worked a lot with Amy in dealing with various correspondence with my ex and she was truly amazing. While I feel for anyone reading this review in need of a lawyer, I could not recommend Veronica and her team more.

Veronica Freitas and her team went above and beyond to fight for me in a custody case to insure my son resided with me, his Mom. She is an excellent listener, articulate, thoughtful, and compassionate. Her paralegal, Amy, touched base with me daily and helped me navigate through an extremely emotional & stressful case. She made sure I had all of the valuable & necessary information needed to win my case. When the opposing lawyer attempted to bend the laws in their favor, she was quick to point out the inadequacies in their argument and poked many holes in their case. As a result, the case was dismissed. Veronica and her team continue to check on me and my son and our safety even though the case has ended. I hired her (and her team) for my divorce case as a defense lawyer. I really needed their professional help as I am NOT familiar with divorce procedures and WA laws. She literally did not give me any feeling/confidence that I had a chance to win the case. I talked with her a couple of times and a few email exchanges but my bills kept coming even though she is not my attorney anymore. There was no mediation or court. We did not even make it that far. I feel that she overcharged me even though I explained that I had a very bad financial situation and did not work with her very long. There were moments that she made me feel like she was HIS (the opposite side) attorney and not mine. If you need somebody to make you feel that "you got this", she is not the one! I needed a strong lawyer who understands moms and women who have been in tough situations in a strange country and being abused but all i ended up receiving was HUGE bills. I now can't even afford any other lawyer and am in a worse situation than before.

If there is 10 stars, I would give them full stars. My divorce case dragged for more than one year, before I came to DuBois Cary Law firm. My first divorce firm was McKinley Irvin (the big popular firm), which assigned 2 leaving attorneys to my case. The attorneys are leaving the firm, yet they are assigned to my case! I spent money on bad lawyers, who never spent a drop of their energy on my case. I moved to another lawyer, John Kydd, who is abusive and would clocked hours and hours to gain fee. We talked on the phone for over 3 hours! That is super exhausting, because I would be reduced to tears. I almost gave up on attorneys, with much disappointment and decided to go Pro Se. After 4 months of Pro Se, my ex was pushing me so hard to a corner. With my family help, I finally mastered a courage to contact DuBois Cary. Amanda recommended Lucia to me. I was very skeptical about my new attorney. Fast forward, within 5 months, my divorce case is finalized with a good offer package from the opposing party. Even the opposing attorney like working with Lucia! I am very blessed to meet Lucia (remotely due to Covid), and I hope I can hug her in person if I can. She is genuinely care for me, and she is such a kind hearted lady. She is professional, and her team is very responsive. What can I say, there is always a good sheep among the bad ones. Thanks Luca and team, you have done good thing to my daughters and myself. You have saved a helpless mother who is constantly bullied by her ex. You managed to steer her away from hopeless to hopeful situation. Thank you!

Mitchell Polonsky helped me resolve a difficult modified parenting plan with my ex husband. He was professional, always available to answer any questions I had, he heard my wants/needs and communicated them to the other party without hesitation. He gave me advice but still respected my wishes, and took a lot of stress off of me throughout the entire process. Let me 1st start out by saying, if you are reading reviews and having a terrible time deciding who is going to help you at one of the worst times in your life. Just stop reading and call. From start to Finish, there is no doubt I would hire them back in a heartbeat. From working with Ken, getting questions answered at no cost, when it became apparent my then wife had hired a lawyer (even though she had pinky promised me she wouldn’t) I had called Ken and I was in a bad place I had just been served papers at my place of employment, he told me not to worry and he had someone to help me out. That is when I received an email and a follow up phone call from my new Lawyer Mitchell Polonsky within that same day. After asking me some basic questions about myself and the situation, he was able put my mind at ease. My wife hired the Lawyer with a reputation for blood. Mitch made it clear it didn’t matter who she had hired. He was going to do everything in his power to make things as fair as possible while minimizing the cost on myself and the exposure to my children (by making it as clean and quick as possible). My Ex wasn’t being fair, not dropping the kids off in the location agreed on, not letting me talk to them on the phone during a critical time in their lives and threatening to withhold them. I informed Mitch and He got to work that same day. It was night and day difference once he emailed her lawyer. That alone was worth the money, but there was still a divorce I had to finish up. Mitch was extremely responsive when it came to emails and phone calls. My Ex-wife and I would both have the same questions for our attorneys and most of the time it would take her lawyer a week to get back. But not Mitch, it was always the same day and typically within hours. It got to the point where I was able to give the Ex an answer before her attorney would even open her emails. (Again; that alone was worth the money) I understand every situation is different, but with Mitch on my side I was able to get 50/50 custody of my 2 boys, pay No spousal support and even kept her away from my retirement. As far as divorce goes I would consider it a win. Thank you Mitch, for everything.

I was 6 months into my divorce proceedings and parted ways with my initial attorney from another law firm. I heard about Goldberg Jones through a work colleague. After talking with Ken he paired me up with Gregg Morphew. I’m active duty military and Gregg had experience working with veterans and he also served in the Army. Right from the start Gregg recognized what was missing in my case and made an immediate impact. His reputation among his peers was obvious and I felt I was getting the solid representation I desperately needed. I highly recommend Goldberg Jones and Attorney Gregg Morphew for any father going through a divorce. For those in the military I have yet to see a more diligent and knowledgeable attorney on all things JAG related than Attorney Morphew.

We used Lawgena for a Parenting Plan and Child Support Order in Superior Court that were years overdue in a very high conflict and complicated baseline social setting. Having a plan in place is a relief and the Spanish interpretation available was one of the main criteria we used in finding an attorney. They were very helpful!

Intake personnel Dani Berlin was quick to schedule a family law consultation for me and collect pre-payment, but she did not follow through with the attorney profile she promised nor did she return my email regarding the proper exchange of documentation. She did, however, contact me 2 hours before my scheduled consultation and tell me that the attorney she had scheduled would need to cancel because of a conflict. Due to the timeframe of my needs, this was completely detrimental to my situation and although I was refunded, the firm made zero attempt to reschedule or accommodate me. I consider this both unfortunate and unprofessional.

In a divorce, you need advocates. Advocates that are willing to listen, empathize with your situation and quickly ascertain what rights and entitlements one has. This review is a long time past due! I dont think I can say enough great things about Hillary. She stayed with is for 6 years dealing with a psychotic, narcissistic coparent who liked to play games, on top of being across the country from us majority of the time. She helped us navigate court and always kept what was at our child's best interest at heart rather than just winning a case. She became more than an employee, she became like family, so much so that she celebrated the birth of our youngest child with us from across the country. If our case had stayed in Washington State we would not have hesitated to keep her as our attorney!
