Well, if you need a friendly and understanding person, this gal is not the one for you! Phone demeanor was was curt and snotty. She seemed very unwilling to answer anything about what was presented to her and did not offer a potential referral to someone that could potentially help. Best advice to her is to rethink her opening image and realized attorney's are a dime a dozen! Best wishes to her future!

In the Fall of 2018, tragedy suddenly befell my family . I was at a loss, both literally and figuratively in sorting out the financial matters pertinent to my late brother . Esq. I have to say, Ernest Kim is the best lawyer I have ever had interacted with and cannot praise him any more than is possible. He took the time to meet with me on short notice and gave my situation careful attention and a thorough evaluation. Unfortunately, my inheritance is complicated. My siblings and our in-laws do not get along at all. However, Mr. Kim was able to provide very effective advice and counseling that prepared us for any eventuality. His complex estate plans and advice are extremely valuable. I truly believe that in today's complex world, it is essential that every one have an estate plan and asset allocation. Mr. Kim is the best lawyer in this field that I have come across and I have met with many. The experiences with different attorneys vary tremendously and when you find an attorney who really seems to care and has that special attention to detail, you must retain him. I am so happy that I was fortunate enough to have been referred to Ernest Kim. I was also pleasantly surprised that he is a certified specialist in his field. I was raised in a family of doctors, and as a doctor myself, I knew that doctors are notorious for poor financial planning and management. After getting married and having children, I naturally became concerned about my assets and wanted to make sure that things were tucked away properly if God forbid, anything should happen to me or my husband. I was referred to Ernest Kim. My husband and I sat down and planned out our estate. This was almost 10 years ago now. It brings me peace of mind to know that such an honest, experienced and conscientious attorney drew up our documents. As with anything of this nature, I think most people tend to shy away from dealing with the thought of death and dying. But in actuality, Ernest made the process so simple and streamlined. It really was a good experience. His staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Of course, we won’t know the true value of these documents unless they are put to the test, but I have faith in Ernest and I know that we will be so glad we hired him.

Talking about what happens to your assets after youre gone might not be the most enjoyable project for the week! We selected Meier Law Firm to create our family trust and it was the best experience one can have. Laura Meier is knowledgeable, friendly and makes the topic an easy one to get through. After my wife and I had our first child, we worried a lot about what would happen to our son if something tragic happened to both of us. We attended a terrific family estate planning workshop by the Meier Law Firm to learn more about how to protect our assets and assign a guardian to our son. Laura and Bonnie were extremely insightful about the laws that govern children of deceased parents and how they would be treated by the legal system. Needless to say, it wasn't easy to hear how our son would be taken care of and how our assets would be distributed without a concrete estate plan. Laura has a terrific book titled, "Good Parents Worry, Great Parents Plan." which also lays out the scary landscape of wills and trusts. With Laura and Bonnie's guidance, we established a trust that we can confidently say will protect our child. They handled our questions with care and compassion. Although the subject matter was uneasy to think about, Laura and Bonnie made sure we were informed to handle the tough questions within our parenting toolbox. Plus, it made us seriously consider who would be the best guardians for our child. It was an excellent exercise on not only who would best care for our child but also who would raise them with our values and principles (yup, it made for some interesting discussions about family members).
