This might seem long but based on my own experience, concise reviews are not so helpful when it comes to finding a CRIMINAL Defense attorney. In a recent experience I had in Los Angeles, I was accused of criminal conduct by law enforcement. While on bail waiting for my court arraignment date, I was extremely worried particularly because of my immigration status as I am an international student on a visa. In 2019 I was arrested in Pasadena facing 25 years. this was my first time ever being arrested or charged with a crime, and I had 5 felonies. I thought my life was over. The first 3 times I went to (Pasadena) court I was assigned a public defender, who was not only extremely busy with other cases, but also did not seem to believe that I was telling the truth. After speaking with other inmates I had my father contact the Shouse Law Group, where I was placed in contact with attorney Karthik Krishnan. He immediately set up a meeting to come and visit me, where I explained my situation. Unlike with my public defender I really felt that Karthik wanted to help me, and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Within 2 weeks we had made more progress than in the previous 3 months, and my outlook on the situation began to change. I remember one day Karthik was visiting me, and he could see that I was very stressed.
