Dmitry Gorin, Robert Hill, and their team outperformed even the most optimistic expectations. They provided great consultation on short notice during one of the most stressful times of my life. This might seem long but based on my own experience, concise reviews are not so helpful when it comes to finding a CRIMINAL Defense attorney. In a recent experience I had in Los Angeles, I was accused of criminal conduct by law enforcement. While on bail waiting for my court arraignment date, I was extremely worried particularly because of my immigration status as I am an international student on a visa. I could not take any risks in dealing with this matter because any of the accusations I was facing could significantly jeopardize and harm my future in terms of education and career. Because of this, I decided to do extensive research and choose the BEST attorney out there to handle my case and fight the accusations ASAP. After a week, I short-listed a few law firms including the Eisner Gorin LLP based on a few criteria such as, online reviews, records and credentials, as well as the responses that attorneys have provided to the legal questions that were asked on the internet. Moreover, as I was educating myself about the judiciary system of the US, I realized that apparently it can make a huge difference if the defense attorney has a good relationship with the prosecuting attorneys and if he/she understands the dynamics of their office well, which in my case would be the LA city attorney's office. So I also tried to make sure my attorney has the best reputation among their office as well. Considering all the above criteria, when I talked to Mr. Dimitry Gorin, he listened to my story very carefully and agreed to help me. I was not very hopeful myself, to be honest, but I felt very comfortable talking to him, he described the possible outcomes and explained his strategy which sounded very reasonable and effective. After talking to him, I became confident that he was the best attorney that I was looking for. I signed the contract with their law firm and started collecting the documents they requested. They immediately began working on my case. Long story short, the prosecutors ultimately decided to reject my case for filing. This means no criminal charges will be even filed against me. This is truly my dream outcome and I could not wish for anything better. Because of this I am very grateful to Mr. Gorin and his team and I will always keep praying for them.

Hired them to do a post-conviction case review (which, to be fair, was decently thorough) and it was supposed to be applied towards any legal work. They ended up wanting to refer us to another counsel after the person whose case it is got upset about the options being presented and expressed this verbally, but not disrespectfully, over the phone to the case manager. They did NOT honor the agreement that the case review investment would be applied to future legal work. They also had another staff member call by proxy to give us this news, rather than having the case manager involved call us directly. This brings up the question: if you can't handle a little heat, how in the world are you going to be fighters in Court? Quick to take the money, but short on empathy or tolerance in understanding people's situations.

Another person posted the pros and cons of this firm and some of them I agree with and some of them I disagree with. The original post is below and at the end I'll give my opinion where I agree and disagree. "Here are the honest PROS and CONS of Spolin Law. READ THIS FIRST if you are thinking of hiring them. PRO: They do criminal law appeals and seem to know this material well. Their posts indicate that cases have multiple attorneys assigned. Always better to have a team of lawyers than just one person. There is an actual support staff helping on cases They have a ton of success stories in the media, so it looks like they can get results. Just google "Spolin Law client walks free" for one example. CON: They are not a generalist firm that can just handle anything, like dui, immigration, suing the government and that type of stuff. They are not a guarantee that you will win. Some firms in other areas of law can guarantee success, like a business incorporation attorney. They don't seem to work for free. A recent law school graduate might be more willing to take on a free case for publicty, but it doesn't seem like they need publicity. This is not the cheap dollar-store option. " I agree with some but not all of this. I agree with most of the general points but I disagree with two things listed here. Disagreement number one is that they say a person can not guarantee success in criminal law but that is not true because you could have a great case and know that you are going to win like the OJ Simpson case where there were five or six expensive lawyers for OJ and they were bound to win from the start if you think about it. Disagreement number two is that you can not rely on other posts to know how many attorneys are assigned to a case, because seeing stuff in the media where there were multiple attorneys does not mean that every case has multiple attorneys.

Stephen and Kenneth have done exceptional work and helped me through some tough times. I was involved in a DV situation where I was wrongfully arrested. Through their diligence and hard work, I had no case filed against me. The DA dismissed the entire case as insufficient evidence. Stephen and Kenneth also successfully helped me prepare a persuasive letter to my future employers when the same DV situation came up on a background check. They are responsive, easy to talk to, and genuinely care for their clients. While no one wants to be in a position where they need a criminal attorney, having one with proven success is assuring.

Edward Blum is a DUI Attorney pretending to know what he is doing in Family Court. One key ingredient of Family Law is to help alleviate tensions and keep the situation calm, but Edward has enabled his Client NOT to follow the Court's directions, helped hide a child from a parent when the Judge instructed the opposite. Edward should be heavily vetted before you let him represent you, there is a reason he does not have current reviews. Do your research.

I was very close to receiving a DUI in 2017 and I contacted Edward Blum for some advice on how to move forward with this issue . Long story short Mr.Blum got my DUI lowered to a misdemeanor speeding ticket and I have been beyond grateful since then. The good news here is, you've came to the right place. David and his assistant Steven are the best in the business! I hired Ron Hoffman and his law firm for a hit and run defense in which I probably shouldn't have been able to get the charges dropped, but Ron and his team were able to get me off the free and clear. His team was amazing in every step of the process. The were in constant contact with me, charged me a very fair rate, handled all the paperwork, walked me through how to deal with my insurance company, worked with me when times got tough and money was tight and were so amazingly supportive. I could not find an attorney that was going to help me for a fair price and Ron and his team took me on and it was the best decision I could have made. In 2019 I was arrested in Pasadena facing 25 years. this was my first time ever being arrested or charged with a crime, and I had 5 felonies. I thought my life was over. The first 3 times I went to (Pasadena) court I was assigned a public defender, who was not only extremely busy with other cases, but also did not seem to believe that I was telling the truth. After speaking with other inmates I had my father contact the Shouse Law Group, where I was placed in contact with attorney Karthik Krishnan. Unlike with my public defender I really felt that Karthik wanted to help me, and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Within 2 weeks we had made more progress than in the previous 3 months, and my outlook on the situation began to change. I remember one day Karthik was visiting me, and he could see that I was very stressed. He asked what I was concerned about, and I explained that I was loosing hope and that I didn’t know if I would ever see the outside would again. After patiently listening Karthik then explained his step by step game plan for every single one of those concerns. I cannot tell you what a difference this made, I went back to my cell filled with hope. This hope was kept alive due to the great communication he had with me, I never felt forgotten. I stopped worrying about getting “lost in the system” because I knew he wouldn’t let that happen. Karthik seemed to take a lot of pride in helping me, and I could see that he was actively motivated to get me justice. This in turn motivated me to stay out of trouble in the jail, and to not give up, something many inmates around me had done. I really felt that he went above and beyond to help me not only understand the laws and the legal side, but to also show me that my life wasn’t over. In the end I was sentenced to formal probation, with a program instead of state prison. I could not have been more satisfied with this outcome. Karthik even explained that in a few years I have an opportunity to reduce my felonies to misdemeanors, and that he would be able to help me with that too. He went above and beyond to help me, and I could not have been more grateful to have found him and this firm.

The Shouse Law group is an extremely dedicated law firm. I've assisted their clients with Sr22 for years and have never had a client say one bad thing about them. This firm fights for their clients and I'd recommend them to anyone.

My dad got his 3rd DUI and was facing a lot of jail time. I was able to convince him to hire a private DUI attorney instead of the public defender. We just can't say enough good things about our experience with the Shouse Law Group and our attorney David Woolf especially. When our grandfather was injured, we really needed someone to step up and they did that and then some. They fought for us, won, and even more importantly, showed heart and compassion while doing so. Highly recommend them.
