This might seem long but based on my own experience, concise reviews are not so helpful when it comes to finding a CRIMINAL Defense attorney. In a recent experience I had in Los Angeles, I was accused of criminal conduct by law enforcement. While on bail waiting for my court arraignment date, I was extremely worried particularly because of my immigration status as I am an international student on a visa. In 2019 I was arrested in Pasadena facing 25 years. this was my first time ever being arrested or charged with a crime, and I had 5 felonies. I thought my life was over. The first 3 times I went to (Pasadena) court I was assigned a public defender, who was not only extremely busy with other cases, but also did not seem to believe that I was telling the truth. He immediately set up a meeting to come and visit me, where I explained my situation. Unlike with my public defender I really felt that Karthik wanted to help me, and that he would do everything in his power to help me. I reached out to several lawyers prior to obtaining Brian Hurwitz as my lawyer. It was clear from our first phone conversation that he was the guy for the job. My case initially started with a restraining order. It then went to three felonies (two being violent felonies) and a restraining order. I literally saw my life drastically changing for the worst right before my eyes. Brian had the courage to pick up both of my cases. The victim, who was my ex girlfriend, was doing everything in her power to make my life miserable and put me in jail for a long time. While Brian did not promise an end result, he promised that he would fight hard for the best outcome for me. There were many plot twists and turns throughout my case and during the restraining order process. Brian was able to weave through all of them and use his knowledge to get us out unscathed.
