This might seem long but based on my own experience, concise reviews are not so helpful when it comes to finding a CRIMINAL Defense attorney. In a recent experience I had in Los Angeles, I was accused of criminal conduct by law enforcement. While on bail waiting for my court arraignment date, I was extremely worried particularly because of my immigration status as I am an international student on a visa. In 2019 I was arrested in Pasadena facing 25 years. this was my first time ever being arrested or charged with a crime, and I had 5 felonies. I thought my life was over. The first 3 times I went to (Pasadena) court I was assigned a public defender, who was not only extremely busy with other cases, but also did not seem to believe that I was telling the truth. After speaking with other inmates I had my father contact the Shouse Law Group, where I was placed in contact with attorney Karthik Krishnan. He immediately set up a meeting to come and visit me, where I explained my situation. Spoke with him and he did some grandstanding about how law is like sorcery and made vague and general statements, then offered to take the case for 30k. An oxygen abuser.
