Me being honest, I was concerned about being assigned a court appointed attorney while in custody since I wasn’t fully aware of the difference between state and federal court at the time. I wasn’t very comfortable on account of the situation I was facing. To my surprise Mr Biggs was very experienced, professional and great overall. He had very little time to look over my case as being called in literally, last minute. My case was very unique and difficult to deal with yet Mr Biggs handled everything more than I could have even hoped for. He never looked worried, assured me that I would be ok and got me out no problem. I definitely recommended Mr Biggs’ services to anyone seeking legal help.

My favorite places to go and shop for most my food items is dollar general store. Though being handicapped, the excessive constant clutter in the isles make it almost impossible, making finding simple things so hard to locate. Not sure if they are understaffed or just poor Managment? Either way I spend time searching for simple things. Great prices, great selections, if you take the time to sort through the inventory of boxes and manage to get through the isles.

All they want is pto get money for their court, their hospitals, and label a person as either a criminal , mentally ill, or say your a bad person and that officer is now in federal prison for six different felonies and the mayor died from a heart attack .

Brad IS EXACTLY the person you imagine when you think of a time when you need a lawyer. I have NEVER met another lawyer that has embodied in action and intention of the person that will go to bat for you when you engage an attorney like BRAD. He was OUTSTANDING! He works long hours for his clients, I saw this FIRST hand when he was calling me at nine o'clock at night to communicate and make SURE I understood the nuances of what was happening and what was NEXT. It started the moment I first spoke with him. He was immediately IN MY CORNER! There was NO hedging bets or typical lawyer speak for "Ill give it a good try", it was IMMEDIATE and never wavered "I am on your side and have your back". When choosing a lawyer to represent you, it is always at the WORST of times, so everyone is trying to find the person who can be 1) Trusted 2) Not giving half effort and 3) Is maximally effectual. Of course, there is always that element of "well, I dont really know, I have to just trust them, pay them and hope I made the right call. BRAD IS THE RIGHT CALL. Other attorneys will call you back, well...... when ever, Brad works long into the night and WILL make SURE you know and understand what's going on. I have experienced this. I myself work long hours and would receive calls back from him late into the evening with him making sure I knew the strategy and what the game plan was. As if I need to add to the list of reviews. But I’ll at least take a minute to say none of them are a lie. These people are very good at what they do. They are a advisor more than a group of lawyers. They let you know where you need to spend money and where you don’t. Zena is a beast. She doesn’t put up with much and if she has to she will give right back. I was forced to sit in a informal hearing and get slandered for what felt like forever. Zena came out in 15 mins and shut em down. Ended with a favorable result. I’d also like to note the way they allowed me to set my plan and have my back. If your looking for a law firm to give you the Reba treatment this is it. Not in front of or behind you but right beside you. The whole way.

I was referred to Virginia by a friend of a friend that had good results. My son needed an attorney for felony violating probation. She didn't know us or anything about us, I'm from Arizona I came down to help my son. My initial fear is that Texas is not friendly toward males of color. Virginia went to Dallas County to see my son and she treated him as though he were her son. She talked to him straight up, she didn't sugarcoat her words. She was a bulldog to get him taken care of & referred us to all the best people. Once he was out we went to her office she came from around her desk and gave him a big hug. Got all of his fees and fines the tune of- $7,000 time served dropped! Virgina was responsive to our calls and emails, which was very important to me being out of state & even after I traveled to TX. Virginia Carter was assigned my criminal case, pro bono, in February, 2021. Upon meeting her there was no question she was happy to take my case. Within minutes she had resolved several question and doubts I'd had. Making the legality of things and my own position quite clear. I left feeling much safer and resolved that the evidence would come to light and clear me. Followed her advice to the letter. She remained always available and actively in contact. With an unexpected diligence and speed, she pursued my case. Contacting several people. Set things in motion, with a city detective, that brought the truth out. Before 30 days was even up, my case was before a judge and charges dropped. Before I'd even been arraigned to plea. This is unprecedented in my life. No one has ever done this for me. I will recommend her first if anyone is in need of absolute defense in a criminal matter.

My one star rating is because of the lack of communication. Unfortunately, it was like pulling teeth to get in contact with them when I did have a question. I was given misinformation twice and some vital information was never communicated to me at all. We were handed off to multiple attorneys, and given completely different information by each of them. I am still waiting for a phone call from the law firm that I was supposed to receive two weeks ago. I have given up, I genuinely wish I would have taken my money elsewhere. I was also told that when I paid my fees in full, that everything was taken care of, even if they needed to return to court. When the time came to go back, I was told that they usually charge for that service, (I had already paid for it) but would waive the fee if I gave them a 5 star google review... So in short, bad communication, lack of consistency, and misinformation is why I will not be using Dunham & Jones again in the future. I hope this helps someone else. The reason they have so many good reviews is because they tell people they will owe them more money if they do not comply. ***UPDATE - a representative from the firm has since reached out to resolve this matter, going so far as to offer to replace my representative with another attorney from the firm. I do appreciate the attempt on their behalf to correct this situation, and will be in communication with them over the next month to try and resolve this matter. I will update this post as the situation unfolds. UPDATE- Kathy and Will from the firm are currently working to correct this issue, I will post updates as they occur…

simple traffic offense. I hired them to go to trial and fight it. Just wanted the video footage. They had "trouble" retrieving that for 8 months. They emailed me twice to just take the probation. I refused at first because I knew if we obtained the surveillance, it would be an automatic win. They are poor at communicating with you to keep you up to date on your case. Wasted money on them just to do something I could've done myself online back in January when the offense occurred. If you have a minor traffic violation don't waste your time with them.
