I was referred to Jimmie Butler, one of the attorneys at Barbas Nunez by a co-worker and was impressed and relieved in how my situation was handled. In addition to being hurt, there are many questions that you never really think about until you are in an accident and Mr. Butler and the staff were able to help me get prompt medical attention and subsequently negotiated a fair settlement of my claim. Cory is one of the most highly respected and competent attorneys. He represented me in a car accident where I had several herniated and bulging disk. I did an extensive research before I chose The Baird Law Group and after reading reviews on all websites and reading about Cory's stellar credentials, I decided he was going to represent me after my nasty accident. I had a serious injury to my body and needed help navigating these uncharted waters. I'm not one of those sue happy people. I did need help and a very dear friend of mine introduced me to such a real group of people. Family orientated, very professional yet not stuffy. I got to know everyone in the office very well. These proceedings took many years and everyone in that office had a part in making sure I understood everything and that I was comfortable. In the many years to come we won, like I said they were taking on insurance giants on a case that wasn't cut and dry. Even if things would have turned out different, my opinion of The Matassini's Law firm would come highly recommended. It's good to know people that know people. I am updating my review because recently I have been sent hospital bills from my car accident that happened in 2019. I was informed that everything was paid off and magically I got a $1,500 bill from my hospital visit the following year from the same accident. I’ve reached out to the law firm multiple times only to be told somebody will get back with me and of course they never did. I was told that wasn’t apart of my accident, although it was, the bill is for the same date and has my car insurance policy on there as the reference number, and then was informed that I already signed papers stating they paid for everything, which obviously they didn’t. Haley doesn’t respond to e-mails either and you’ll just get the run around. Unacceptable and unprofessional.
