If I could I wouldn't leave a star, I didn't even get to speak to a lawyer the customer service is horrible the phone was answered by a simple "hello" no law firm name no how can I help you, I asked to speak to a lawyer and she said that no one is in the office and when I asked her when can I talk to one she says I don't know when they will be in, she didn't ask for my name, a number they can call back on. After an awkward moment of silence of my waiting for her to ask for my details or for her to speak I hanged up! This is not a law firm because a professional business will at least hire someone with good customer service. Update: Please see response of the owner just to see the professionalism, take ownership for the mistake of your staff, this is not a connection issue as I was calling from the United States and your assumption that I am calling from Russia is just off putting and just weird to even assume that from a written review (FYI I am Canadian in case you want to make another assumption) I did find a good law firm with staff that knew how to answer the phone, announce the law firm's name when answering the phone and actually take my information for a callback.

Had an initial consultation with Mr Busby himself, sharing sentiments and legalities of a heartfelt custody issue. He listened well and understood the angles of proceeding in court. However, the day of court, Mr Busby was a no show. He sent people i had never seen or spoke to about my case. Very unprofessional and infuriating .

First and foremost let me just say how much I love and appreciate Mr.Ed. He is super nice and welcoming, makes you feel like family. It’s not all about money with him, he actually cares about your situation. I was recommended him from my stepdad and I’m happy he did! Ed Davis made the divorce process extremely easy. You could file on your own, but why? Fill out the form on his site and he basically does the rest… a few months later- Boom! Divorce is final and you’re left wondering why you hadn’t called sooner. I’d definitely recommend him for your legal needs.

If you are looking for a great family lawyer, do yourself a favor and call Mr. Hart. (The first consultation was free) Mr. Hart showed me compassion and patience like no professional has ever done. He understands how difficult these matters can be and helped me push through when we were at a crossroad in making decisions. He explained everything in laymen terms and made sure I knew what I was signing. He is very detail oriented and organized. When it comes to pricing, he is certainly undercharging. Don't wait your money with this lawyer. She is very lazy and takes forever to do her job. You can use her if you want to drag out a long divorce and you get nothing in the end. Might as well go in to court alone and have a better chance then use her. True story!

Sent a buddy over to Johm who was going through a really bad divorce and family law issue. He was kind of embarrassed to leave the review so I am. His wife was trying tk take him to the cleaners and take the kids. Mr. Grubb exceeded his expectations after he had spoke to a previous attorney who said that there was much he could do for him. I hired Mary Ramos for my divorce matter and came back to her for my child support matter. Great attorney. Very knowledgeable in family law. She knows how to handle difficult opposing sides. The mother of my children was not an easy person to deal with, but Mary knew exactly how to work around her attitude. She is definitely an attorney who cares about father's rights. I will always recommend her to everyone I know who needs help with family law matters. Thankfully I have my kids living with me and I get to be such a hands on dad because of her. Since my case has been completed, I hear she's become board certified and won a few awards. Late congrats to her on her success. Mary is one of the absolute best family lawyers in Houston. I retained her services for a very nasty custody modification my child's father brought against me that had mountains of allegations and spanned nearly five years. She was my fourth attorney on this ugly case. She is very smart and knows the law. She was able to quickly see issues and apply law where three previous attorneys had overlooked. She is direct and tells her clients what they need know, even if they don't agree (and you really need this). She devised a trial strategy that I initially didn't agree with, but we prevailed thanks to her experience and guidance. Her staff is incredible. They are very well organized and very responsive, ensuring that we followed all court rules in a timely manner and that our trial exhibits and support were ready. I was facing what every other super lawyer in Houston had told me was an impossible case to win, but Mary pulled me through. I owe her and her firm everything. She really is the best of the best.

This review has been 3 years in the making. I can't believe it has taken this long but I have to do it. They deserve it. This duo are among the most professional attorneys I have ever seen. They are compassionate, experienced and firm. With them, you never feel alone. Michelle Schmidt is a very empathetic person who is very understanding about the plight of domestic violence and different types of abuses. Her husband is a very experienced and knowledgeable attorney who knows the different facets of their practices. Their staff are also a great team of understanding people who work with their clients to get you the best results. Back in 2018 they worked on my mother's divorce and custody case. In my view, my mother's triumphant result was because of their skills as a duo of competent lawyers who care about their clients. We do not regret hiring this group.

My Husband went in for a consultation and he said she was AMAZING! We are looking in to relinquish/adoption and she was very informative. We couldn’t believe the consultation was free. I mean she literally provided us with the process in detail, and gave us helpful tips moving forward even if we chose not to work with her. We will definitely be working with this firm! High level review (5 star+) I worked with Michelle and her team (Vernice and Julie). I am extremely satisfied with the legal service and the entire process. I got all I want including custody as a father with a reasonable cost and time. Detailed review I have never thought about a divorce in my life.
